NAVRATRI NAILART NAILFAME NAILART BLOG INDIA

Youngsters in my city #Ahmedabad are all set to rock in this #Navratri. In my last post I did a mani inspired by a traditional wear called #Chaniyacholi. The clothes are main attraction during #Navratri #Garba, but the look is incomplete without those traditional accessories. Oxidized silver jewellery is Navratris’ speciality. From tip to toe there is a gorgeous jewellery available in market. There is a lot of variety in design and pattern, for men and women, there is an endless choice.

Want see the mood of market again. Here are few pictures of #Navratri special #Jewellery.

Here is a link to one good article if you are interested to know bit more about how Navratri is celebrated in my city. http://blog.travelyaari.com/ahmedabad/navratri-in-gujarat-ahmedabad-a-heady-cocktail-of-fun-and-folklore/

I just love the colorful pictures and I wanted to add more and more, but ok I have controlled myself.. 😉

Now let’s have a look at my first ever #3dnailart. I am not a big fan of 3D nailart , (I like it when other Nail artists do it so beautifully, but never dared to wear it) but somehow I thought, I executed and I failed :-(. Well, these mani didn’t turn out in a way my mind imagined, but still I like it. It took me few hours to get the final result.

#Dandiya and #Nagara are the important part of #Navratri #Ras #Garba. #Dandiya is a stick made out of wood or metal which are used to play #Ras, and #Nagara is of course a musical instrument which pushes the dance lovers just to rock on floor. Many or most of you might be aware of it very well.

So, today’s mani is inspired by #Dandiya , #Nagara, and #Navratri #Jewellery.

In these manicure Danidyas are made of toothpick, the Nagara is made using paper and clear polish and the nagara sticks are again made using paper. The  jewellery is made using #Bornprettystore #studs. 🙂

  1. It looks gorgeous! I've never tried 3D nail art, so my question is – isn't it uncomfortable? Do you feel the 3D things on your nail with the daily actions or you don't even notice it?

  2. Hi Sandra, thank you so much for your kind appreciation. And you said it right. 3d nailart is bit uncomfortable and you definitely feel those 3d things on your nails. But the studs with flat surface are truly gorgeous 3d object which not only add a beauty and bling to your nailart but also you hardly feel them on nails if you are much more concious about it, rest of the things like round studs (one I am wearing in this mani and other things with more depth) are I don't think are wearable in regular days. It's more like just for fun. Just do it, click it and let it stay on nails until you get few compliments and then you yourself will take it off asap. 😉 and this was the exact case with me. I was able to wear this mani hardly for 4-5 hrs. 🙂 This is what I have experienced with 3d nailart. 🙂

  3. Yes, studs are very pretty. No, they aren't bindis,it's a nail art 3d decoration studs from Bornpretty store. It were kindly offered to me for my review and I did a mani using them and reviews them in one of my last post. You can check it out for more details, between thanks so much for your kind words. 🙂
