Sharing my new Shattered Glass manicure I have specially created for a prompt currently running on an awesome awesome Facebook Group called ‘Tiny Canvas’. I am a member of this group since a long time. It’s the best nailart group I have seen till date. The admins, the members everyone here are just awesome. Join it to believe it. You can find this group on Facebook and Instagram. Every month they run weekly challenges with different theme. This month’s first challenge is a shattered glass nailart.
Basically I am not a big fan of this nailart. Actually the classic style didn’t attract me. But it’s retro style is something I wanted to try on my nails. In one of my Born Pretty Store nail haul, I bought candy color mermaid nailart stripes (#40920) which were resting unused in my shelf since a long time as I didn’t have any idea to use it on my nails. This tapes are available in 6 colors and 3 sizes -1,2 and 3 mm. I bought all colors in 2 mm size.
Finally when I saw this challenge on Tiny Canvas, I thought it’s the best option to try those unused beautiful tapes. I have used 3 colors in this manicure.
Well now comes the process. It took a lot of time to me to place all those tiny pieces of tapes on all my five nail tips. I made tiny pieces out of mermaid tapes using scissor and then carefully placed them on a black polish. And girls, the result is just ahmazing! My nails were looking like a party light. It’s giving me the exact shattered glass effect on my nails. Quite happy with final outcome.
